Tadfield Manor, sitting on the terace, working out the details...

Status: Tadfield Manor, sipping cold coffee, sitting on the terrace, and thinking about the new hires.

My coffee is cold and one of the guests walked off with my copy of the London Times before I could check my stocks. Ah well, I need to take a minute and think about the latest staff acquisitions as well as the new renovations, and -- damn it! -- I still need find a karaoke machine before Duke Ligur arrives.

An angel bartending? I suppose I shouldn't be too picky. I desperately need someone to man the bar. I can't run everything myself -- besides, my margaritas are crap. It's really no secret.

And then a demon serving? Again, I really can't afford to be picky here either. I'm still a bit nervous about working with the Forces of Hell again. Last time, someone burned the place down. And then I never heard from anyone again. Well, I do have the vaguest memory of a pair of bright yellowish-orange eyes and then the nicest dream...

I still need several more servers, a back-up bartender - maybe just a server who can occasionally bartend?, someone to help me with the Front Desk, and some maintenance and cleaning staff. If I do open up the Hospital Wing, I'm going to need a few medically-trained someones, I suppse.

I feel a headache coming on, just thinking about all this!

I'd better start today's ToDo list:

1- Confirm with Raphael and Belial about their respective positions. Check references?
2- Find a karaoke machine!
3- Run an ad for at least minimal staff for the Hospital Wing. Perhaps a nice masseuse who also knows some First Aid?
4- Listen out for phone calls and folks dropping by about the remaining positions.
5- Water those damn plants -- again!!!!
6- Order that new TaeBo collection. My ass isn't what it used to be.
